Branding for Studio La muse

 

Today is the big day, that Ashleigh Raddatz, Jena based photographer,  launches her new studio under the name of “Studio La muse”. Ashleigh is the sweetest person and it has been total fun working with her, not least because of her cute American accent when talking German. As a Storytelling, Connection & Birth Photographer, I can see how her new studio will be a place for people to meet and get inspired. It was a pleasure, to create a visual branding for Studio La muse and I am happy to share it today.

 

The inspiration board

Ashleigh had this wonderful vision of how her studio would be a place to connect people and wanted a branding that would feel inviting and inspirational. The overall feel was to be light and airy, with a slight edge to it. Romantic but modern, feminine but authentically wild. Soft, but just the right amount of rough around the edges. So I tried to create an inspiration board that would pull together all those contrasts.

There are 5 main areas in which Ashleigh is working and she wanted to have the option to highlight each one. To create a concept that would allow her to do just that a headline, illustration and pattern was created for every section of her business.
